He was always available to answer any question, however trivial, and most importantly never made me feel as though they were trivial. That means a lot.

"On meeting Dr. Sharma, my very first impression was about how very
courteous and humane (down-to-earth) he is. Dr Sharma exudes a profoundly natural charisma and congeniality which
spontaneously imparts so much comfort and confidence in a patient.
He made me feel quite comfortable about my case; answering all my queries
and literally diffusing my anxieties. His explanation and course of treatment was quite thorough, clear and very
easily comprehensible. In fact, part of my comfort being with him came
from the confidence I got through the thoroughness of my eye examination
and the subsequent detailed report he sent to me.
And since having the operation, the aftercare that I have received has
been consistently FIRST CLASS. I would say that Dr Sharma possesses the

"I have been so impressed with every aspect of the service at London OC.
The patient care through initial enquiries about surgery to pre op
consultation, surgery and post op care. Nicki is always at the end of the
phone to help you with whatever problems you may have and the care and
commitment to their patients is first class. Dr Sharma is incredibly good
at what he does and it’s no surprise people come from far and wide. I
only ever experienced very minor post operative discomfort after my
pterygium excision surgery. Maybe 12 hours at the most, but Dr Sharma
still phoned me the first morning and gave me his mobile so that he was
available whenever needed. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and
Dr Sharma. I would recommend him to anyone happily. I genuinely would not
consider anyone else given the service and support I received at the

"As a former scientist I had naturally undertaken quite a thorough investigation as to the procedures associated with cataract surgery. My first contact with the LondonOC concerned primarily costs, whether surgery should be undertaken in the early stages of a cataract and, since I was coming from France, what sort of timescales I could be looking at.
All my questions and more, were dealt with very promptly and efficiently.Everything about LondonOC was very efficient and yet undertaken in a calm atmosphere. I was clearly advised of all the risks, what to expect during and after the operation. None of my questions seemed too trivial for Mr Sharma and I always felt very confident and comfortable at every stage. The supporting literature was equally very clear and informative. The nursing staf were super - even providing tea and biscuits afterwards!

"When I first learned that I needed a trabeculectomy it seemed a terrifying prospect. I couldn’t imagine ever going through with the operation and yet the alternative of letting the glaucoma run its course was equally unthinkable.
I am now looking back on those days, having had not one trabeculectomy but two – the same procedure in each eye – and realising tha, in the event, there was no need for my fears. It made a big difference to me to learn that there was an less invasive version of the operation using the Express Shunt and this is what I opted for.
Both operations have been entirely successful and the possibility of a life without eye drops is a wonderful prospect. The London Ophthalmology Centre offers an excellent service and facilities. Mr Sharma and his PA are quick to respond to telephone calls and answer queries. I found making arrangements, attending consultations and the surgery days themselves ran reassuringly smoothly. I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received from Mr Sharma before, during and in the weeks after each procedure. Mr Sharma has a very agreeable manner as well as a welcome sense of humour. My partner put it very succinctly when first meeting Mr Sharma - he said that as Mr Sharma entered the room he instantly felt confident that everything would be alright. And so it was."

Mrs Jones was so happy and pleased with the results of her treatment she was on holiday as soon as she returned home to Spain. Mrs Jones came over to England especially to have her surgery with Mr Sharma, she had one eye operated on and the following week the other eye before flyng back to Spain.

After having cataract operation on both eyes Mr Costa is impressed with Mr Sharma and the London Ophthalmology Centre as he states he received the best care with his surgery and post op visits as well as great results.
